Hi there! Thank you for visiting my website, it’s still in progress so mind the construction, but I hope you enjoy your stay.
My name is T-J Grainger, I'm an experienced digital and video focused creative, producing start to end products. I’m originally from the U.K but in the winter of 2019 I traded the wet grey weather of the midlands and moved to the ‘slightly’ sunnier south of France, and have been living here ever since.
Toulouse, France - My new ‘Birmingham’, offers a slightly different range of colours compared to the drab grey I experienced most of my life!
Instead of giving you my professional run down (which you can find on my LinkedIn profile, linked below), I wanted this first blog post to be slightly more personal and tell anyone who stumbles across this about myself and how LittleBigCreations was created.
As a child I was always interested in creative outlooks, through the form of books, video games, movies and comics. But the biggest one to to my youngerself was LEGO. I’m not sure what aspect drew me the most towards to these plastic bricks, maybe it was the thought that everything could start with one little piece and be built up into whatever your mind can conjure up.
This in turn was my first foray into making videos, I first started making stopmotion videos with small minifigures, telling small stories and learning how to edit, film and light in a very microscale! As I started to grow older I wanted to transition this hobby into something I could do professionally. After finishing my GCSE’s at 16 years old I decided to not go through the standard route and instead settled for doing an apprenticeship in film and media at a video production company in Birmingham.
Birmingham, U.K - Where I started my professional journey
During my 4.5 years of working in the heart of the city, I had acquired a wealth of knowledge in nearly all of the aspects of video production, if you can name a role in video production, chances are I have some experience in it! But during this time I found the two skills that I have the most passion and skill for, these being video editing and video producing.
Since I left the U.K I have continued to hone my skills and develop new ones, I’m constantly looking how I can develop my skillsets both professionally and personally in order to bring more offerings to my clients but also so I can satisfy my own professional needs and to make sure that I’m always enjoying the work that I’m producing.

In terms of what to expect I’m aiming to write some posts about the rise in A.I and how I think it will affect the video industry and I would also like to write some case studies on video production and how it is used.
